Some observations

  • Compared to many content creation-related occupations in this series, jobs in Public Relations are comparatively plentiful.
  • There are thousands of jobs in several markets, and many of these jobs are outside of the country’s largest markets.  This might be a good option for someone who enjoys mass communications but does not want to be tied to a major information or culture production center like New York or Los Angeles.
  • Metro DC seems to have the most robust public relations job market in the United States.  It has as many jobs as metro New York City, despite the fact that it is a much smaller city.
